This CFA Technical Note is intended to serve as a guide to assist in the interpretation of applicable design requirements for the design of the traditional one and two family dwelling units. It provides for the consideration of a design methodology described as moderately-reinforced concrete design.

2010 CFA Standard
The latest edition of this Standard updates the recommended practice provisions from the Concrete Foundations Association in language that parallels that of the current International Residential Code and the ACI 332 Standard for Residential Concrete. Many additional issues found in this Standard extend beyond the limitations of ACI 332 and address key factors such as waterproofing, drainage and tolerances.
